RIP 'EM UP! TEAR 'EM UP! GIVE 'EM HELL, BLAZERS!

There's even a Troy fan encouraging other Troy fans to attend the UAB game, using the hash tag #SaveTheRivalry

why is this list different than the one showing up in twitter?
I have no axe to grind with Auburn, all of the War Eagle fans I've encountered have had nothing but supportive things to say about UAB, especially now, matter of fact, if this thing goes sideways on our football program, I have a feeling that Auburn's going to be getting a new influx of fans very soon. Could care less about "Updyke U." A curse on all their Frat Houses!

I think the "trends" in Birmingham on Twitter are all spots that are purchased with advertising dollars. That would be my guess.

My point was that Birmingham is talking (on Twitter) exclusively about the UAB-Marshall game, not Bama and Auburn.

I have absolutely NOTHING against Auburn and, as a matter of fact, I'll be honest... I enjoyed watching Alabama dismantle Texas A&M. It's too back those A** holes in Tuscaloosa are trying to dismantle UAB football. :-(
That's because both are playing meaningless games no one cares about, mostly. I'll take it.

Me, too!

It will be interesting to see if this trend continues after the UAB-Marshall game or if we go back to the typical Auburn/Alabama stuff... I'm sure it will, due to the Iron Bowl being next week, but maybe this moment will have a lasting impact on the future of Birmingham and UAB athletics?
...if nothing else, the City of Birmingham and UAB fans have let these UAB football players and coaches know that they are loved. :-)

That is not correct.
Are the trends on Twitter over a longer time span? (updated weekly or monthly)

Trendsmap.com seems to update in real time and I am able to watch it change as I post more and more tweets with certain key words.
As ever, it depends on who does the counting and what the methodology is.

Kind of like counting UAB football attendance or the value of a football program to a University or the rest of it's athletic department?
Congratulations. You have made them irrelevant in Birmingham.
