That statement by the Governor could be something to get the BOT in trouble with SACS and could result - as it did with Auburn - in getting Bama put on probation, possibly for years. What if the governor and the BOT got Bama "grounded " from bowl games for a few years? That result could cost them the services of the present coaching staff who might not want to wait out the probation until around 2020.
