This is purely hypothetical and I hope it never happens but. . .

If UAB's final season is indeed in 2016 I want Alabama's arse on the field on national television so we can beat them for all to see! I want to drag these cowards out and give them the final insulting blow! I want to wipe the smug grin off their faces!

I want to go out with a bang! I want revenge for years of sabotage and cowardice! I want retribution!

This is my doomsday plan. I want this on national media calling them cowards out to challenge us on the field. So if the unthinkable does indeed happen let's make this real as well.
If UAB Football gets the axe, the blade will hit us THIS season. Not 2016.

Well next year then. I want them to us face on the football field. We can't beat them because they hold all the cards on the Board of Trustees, but there are no immortals on the football field. We may lose but we need to face these cowards once and for all. Call it my bucket list for UAB football and it's pretty much the one and only item.
If UAB football disappears I intend to spend cash every season buying a hat for every team those bastards play and cheering for them as if I'd been a fan my whole life. If I have no team then I will support those who would hurt their little "dynasty". It may seem spiteful but I could honestly care less

GO BLAZERS!!
I would guess that if FBHC Clark is worried (as we appear to be) then he will want an extension announced based on the level of his success this season, and he will want it in Dec. in time for JUCO recruiting. Mackin will want to announce new OOC scheduled games for seasons now in doubt. These will ease our minds when they are announced. .
Actually now that I have thought about this a little more, I think this may be the way to get the Board of Trustees off our backs once and for all. Beat them on the field once and for all. Let the world know we have surpassed them and let their worst fears come to life. They can't touch us once we beat them because they would become the laughing stock of the entire nation. "Poor Alabama can't beat UAB on the field so they have to resort to underhanded tactics and cowardice." Makes a great headline I know Scarbinsky would definitely use it. This is the only place where we can beat our enemies not in a boardroom where they hold all the cards but on the football field which they fear the most.

I'm right there with you...Everything their board has done to our football team, they get what they give. I'm usually gracious in defeat, but I'm making an exception to the rule for them. And don't give me that "don't make it us vs. them" excuse...In their myopic minds, UAB has gone from a non-factor to all of a sudden, somewhat of an immediate threat, so they're willing to go as low as they can and hide behind their (bleeping) clout to do it, and no one in this state that is or was in position to do anything about it will. I hope LSU, "Moo-U" & Auburn scorches the Earth with them this year and that a "football pestilence" visits their house like their board visited upon ours!

You aren't getting it...there will be no next year if they go through with shutting down UAB Football.

Don't stop him, he's on a roll. Prolly gonna talk about the German's bombing Pearl Harbor next.
If things don't get resolved, Coach Clark will be out of here, and most of our best players will too.
We can forget about Clark, unfortunately. No sane coach would stay in this situation.

We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons, but that could take years and cost millions of lives. I think this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part....and we're just the guys to do it.

If football gets the axe, I'm becoming Auburn booster!

Amen to that! Never thought I would cheer for Auburn but the Alabama System Board of Trustees has taught me UAB football and Alabama football cannot coexist, so I have chosen UAB.
I will lose interest in college football.
