I'm personally of the opinion that this is all fabricated in order to put more scrutiny on the BoT so that when the stadium issue is revisited, soon, the external pressure will be so great as to force their hand. The fact that so many people have taken to this story, and all but Bama fans on the UAB side of the fight, is amazing, and exactly what we need. Let's keep it up.
I don't think this is masterful ploy by Watts to get us a stadium. We are fighting for our existence.
This is not fabricated. I wish it was.

That's exactly what we'd expect someone who is in on it to say!

I kid.

I have no clue what's going on behind the scenes, but I'm more inclined to believe that they are efforts against us rather than for us.
If it's not a ploy, it backfired. Too many people are now aware, and the dirty laundry that we all knew but that wasn't publicly common knowledge is now coming to the forefront of the conversation. If PBandJ were trying to get something done before he retires, he blew his chance. The more people that know what's going on, the better. I hope this remains a hot story for a good long while.
The BoT answers to no one but the BoT, and they don't give an ant's fart what anyone else says.

This is PBJ's retirement gift to himself, killing our program before he retires. All we've done is mess with the timing.

Why can't people like you understand the BOT can do whatever they well please when it comes to UAB sports?

They could drop football at any time regardless of what you or anyone else thinks.

Everyone has to answer to someone, in one way or another. So you are telling me there are no checks and balances set up for the BOT what-so-ever?
Anyone who thinks that this is not real just needs to see some of the tweets from some coaches. They are veiled but they are purposeful.

There are checks and balances. Gov. Bentley checks to make sure the balances go to UA-Tuscaloosa.
I wish we could get #FreeUAB trending on Twitter for Bham.
