I know these sites are just speculation, but isn't it nice to be included!?
IF we get to six, I think Boca is the most likely destination for us.
I'm going to what ever bowl we go to!!!!!

I had a blast at FAU. Would not hurt my feelings to return.

Does it look like six wins will get us in a bowl this year?
I know a lot depends on what the other conferences do with filling their slots.

I think we all agree that we should just get seven wins and not have to worry about it.

I hate it, that might be the case. If we do get to 6 wins, 5 being wins over FBS schools. It's a one game season now, just as we always should've looked at it. One thing we hate to see is the P5 schools go 4-0 in nonconference with possibly 2 wins over FCS teams and only win 2 games in conference then get a bowl bid. We played a tough nonconference schedule and will probably get punished for it if we only have 6 wins.

I think if we get to six we will be fine. CUSA is not going to have a ton of 6 win teams, and it looks like many other conferences won't fill their slots.
46 teams are bowl eligible, with 30 bowl slots to fill.

Saw that somewhere on Twitter.
As it stands right now, there will be 6 bowl eligible teams. Marshall, La Tech, and MTSU are already bowl eligible. UTEP, Rice, and UAB are knocking at the door with 5 wins. The rest of CUSA would need to win out to get to six wins and 5 of those teams only have three wins.

CUSA has 5 bowl tie-ins. In the event Marshall does not make the Access Bowl, UAB could be on the outside looking in. Marshall gets the Access Bowl, UAB would be fine. Another possibility is CUSA gets to fill the Indy Bowl. As of now, it's 50/50 the SEC will fill it so this could be another bowl for CUSA. Rice and UTEP still has four left to play and it's highly probable they will win two more games so I don't think it will matter if UAB win 7 games or not.

You're thinking if we get 7 wins we still won't go to a bowl? I find that highly unlikely.
May only be 6 or 7 teams bowl eligible in the league.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe western Kentucky went 7-5 in 2011 and still did not receive a bowl bid. It can happen.
C-USA places 7+ win teams before 6 win teams. That's why so many people say get to 7. FAU was left out last year at 6-6.

If Marshall doesn't get the Access Bowl and La Tech, Rice, UTEP, and MTSU all have 7 wins, I think it is very unlikely UAB would get a bowl bid over those teams. Just my opinion and I based that on going to just one bowl game and not being known as a traveling fan base. Not trying to anger anyone.

I thought there was a ncaa a rule a few years back that all teams with 7 wins had to be placed before 6-6 teams. May have been a conference by conference decision or perhaps I could be misremembering.
There used to be an NCAA rule but it is gone now.
