And you have been the only team I feared as a loss coming into this season. And its even greater now due to your stellar season so far, minus the one hiccup. I believe you have a solid team, and i will be on pins and needles for our game. Keep it up UAB. FYI, i have no doubt you will smack MUTS in the mouth this weekend.
Thanks! I hope you are right about the MTSU game. You guys sure had your way with them- lol

Thanks ! There's a lot of football to be played between now and then. If we can continue to improve we have a chance at a pretty special season. You guys are playing lights out. There's potential for a pretty memorable afternoon at Legion Field next month. Hope you guys will come down!
Nah, don't be afraid. Just ignore us and look past to your next game.
I would ignore this idiot. Closer to your game he will be saying you guys have no chance and how this Marshall team is the best in college football history. He did the same stuff to us leading up to our game.

Yep. It would be best for all of us if we just acted like he wasn't here. He isn't here to be kind.

I laughed.
I wouldn't be scared, some of us are just fat kids.

You mistake honesty and objectivety for just being an a$$ like you are. I have said time and time again i am simply candid and honest. If yu cant handle that then i am sorry, but i have done nothing to contradict that. I said that about MTSU because i believed it to be true. I wasnt rude until your fans were. You guys take a legitimate 55-17 prediction as smack. It was damn near accurate too. I caught a ton of flak for my analysis of the league and statistics in week 3 and told many it would stand true after i posted the update after 6 games. I posted that on the main board. Eat your heart out.

As for UAB, i got nothing but respect. You are the best team on our schedule, period. Whether the casual fan can see it or not. You have a very good offense, and a capable defense that will give you a few stops. This game will require our A game to escape with a win.

I may be down this year. Depends on work.
Plus remember last time...

I am very aware. Trust me. You guys are always tough at home, its about the same homefield advantage as we have IMO. It makes you 1-2 tds better to be at home.

My question is, what kind of gameplan do you think will be employed vs us?

I think you have a very balanced offense. That includes 2 good rb in vinson and howard. With Howard being the better of the 2 IMO.

Your passing game is extremely effecient, and will help you move the ball on 3rd down better than any team we have faced due to our holes in the short/intermediate passing defense we have in nickel. Clements can also move well and run if he needs too which causes issues.

Your WR are a plenty. Nelson stands out slightly but all are capable.

I just havent seen a team that matches up like you guys do. If your coaches and team bring it, this one is a dog fight.

Everyone else thought the east title game was last week, i have always seen it as being UAB, even after the fiu wtf game. Your next 3 roadies will test you. I hope you come out unscathed.

Whatever works. And I mean that sincerely. This offensive staff has shown more ability, and willingness, than I've ever seen at any level to completely switch gears - during a drive, if necessary - based on what the opposing defense is doing. Not everything works 100% of the time, but we keep all our ammo near at hand.

+1... Completely agree (redundant, I know). But, when I watch this team, I see the staff come out with a game plan, and then change accordingly. That's terrific to see.
Adjustments, not just at half time, but on the fly.

Amazing!

The position of strength may have turned into TE with Gerald Everett coming out of nowhere. His break tackle rating on NCAA would be 99.

Maudrecus has really come on strong now that he's healthy and might rival JJ in terms of production the rest of the way. He's supposedly only a tenth slower in the 40, and he's 4 inches taller and 25 lbs bigger. Now that Cody had whatever breakthrough he had after the FIU disaster, our offense is pretty special right now.

I'm not worried about scoring points. I'm worried about stopping you guys.

If you make adjustments on the fly that well, you will out coach the hell out of us. Doc has never made an adjustment during gameplay and has made maybe a handful at halftime ever. This bodes well for you. I think it may be best if we try to play keep away and run the ball a lot in this one.

You guys haven't had to make a lot of adjustments especially this year

This year that is true. In past years, trust me. MtSU last season is my biggest example. We were in the wrong defense the entire game and they capitalized and ran it down our throats while we tried to defend their power running package with 2 undersized LB and wondered why it didnt work. Heater (our DC) loves the damn nickel, and we are much better in a 4-3 base.
Not funny! You forgot to mark your thread with a pseudo-sarcasm font qualifier.
Yes. We know you're program is superior to ours in every way, but throwing false praise on us here will get you nowhere ... or are you just trolling?

We know we suck (see linked evidence below), but we don't need future opponent's fans on here patronizing us either. Look, the bandwagon is almost empty after losing to Miss. St. & FIU.

Even our die-hard UAB fans left weeks ago. See? ----> Proof of Our Inherent Suckiness

Now go prop up your strawman somewhere else, and leave us alone ... and turn the light off on your way back out the door!!!
