UAB has scored more points against top-ranked Mississippi State than anyone else.
Good for Marshall. I'm excited about hosting a ranked team in late November.

No one can change the MSU "L" to a "W", but we can certainly change the way we interpret the results of the game as the season plays out. Losing to a team everyone else beats (see USM, FIU, FAU in past seasons) looks and feels a lot different than losing to contender for a championship. We are just making the best of what we can't change.
To think we once were leading them...

And have been the only ones to do so this season.
Considering how MSU is turning out my head would really be in the clouds if we hadn't crapped the bed so badly against FIU. 04-chairshot
Who was the poster heading into the MSU game calling out anyone and everyone who said that MSU might be good this year or said that their QB was a legitimate Heisman candidate. I want to get football picks from that guy.

Someone got lambasted for daring to suggest that Dak had a shot at the trophy
I was looking for that thread and could not find it. Buried in Blazer Talk.
More so who was the poster that was adamant that Prescot was not a Heisman candidate.

Little early to crown him just yet but he's definitely at or near the top of the pack of candidates as of this week.

Lets hope we keep it close and get through without injuries. We usually seem to play them well when we play them, so hopefully we give them a game.

No one is crowning him, the question was who said he was a candidate and right now the talk is of him being a candidate. Not just on here but also in the news, outside of Mississippi.

last post about that from me. back to UAB RELATED Threads
Does everybody really not remember who that poster was?

I do, and for what it is worth, I agreed at the time. Prescott really hadn't done anything to that point that made him a legitimate contender. Now, with Gurley gone, and other teams dropping games, he has to be on anybody's short list.
Dan Mullen to Florida. 03-wink
