One of those opponents was Mississippi State... a team which is now ranked #3, so you can't really hold that against our defense, especially since 3 touchdowns scored by our opponents in those 2 losses were on pick-6 plays.
When Cody Clements cuts out the pick-6 plays, we will really cut down on our points allowed. Cody did MUCH better against Western Kentucky, but there was still a pick-6... but we won the game anyway. I don't think we'll see a lot of pick-6 plays given up by our offense the rest of the season.
