The conference champ will have three losses..................................07-coffee3
I don't think Marshall loses a single game.

Their schedule is a joke. We might be their toughest game.
They are worried to death about us too. It would not surprise me if we knock them off.

If UAB defeats Marshall, Birmingham police will be doing DUI checkpoints for folks trying to leave Legion.....

Marshall played like crap in the CUSA Championship game last year. A 11:00 kickoff at Legion Field might not end up being their best outing.
They're the most Jekyll and Hyde team home and away I've ever seen.
We are their toughest road game by far which kind of tells you just how easy their schedule is. They could still drop a home game though since they're all much harder.

Marshall can't help they got a beneficial home schedule with their toughest games being in Mursfreeboro. Good for them. I do believe UAB will present the Herd with their biggest road block to potentially going undefeated before the CUSA Champ. Game.
So does that mean that the conference champion will have at least two losses? 05-stirthepot

So much so I've seen some speculation that even if they finish undefeated, they won't crack the Top 10, maybe not even the Top 15.

So true! I can almost hear the "talking heads" on cable sports shows in unified chorus chanting "Who have they played?" while NEVER asking "Who has refused to play them (especially H&H)?"
I love that old Watson Brown quote.

If we were a perennial top 25 team, we wouldn't give Marshall a home and home either. They had a game with Louisville and when that went away it completely screwed them. Unlike some of the Boise and tcu teams in the past, it will be a legitimate question to ask of Marshall this year. I don't think they are going to have such an easy run to 13-0 though, and I'm willing to bet they lose a stupid game ore two somewhere along the way.
