I was watching one of your games late last season. I believe it was against Rice. One of your O-lineman suffered a brutal leg/knee injury. I was just curious whatever became of him. Has he recovered or is he sitting out this season? It was an awful looking injury. Hated to see it and just wanted an updated.
That was John Hix. He is no longer a player on the team, but he received a medical hardship scholarship.
Very bright guy. Engineer. Probably close to getting his degree.
I believe the injury may be healing or has healed.
I would guess no long term issues with the injury.

Sat with him at last week's game. He is doing well. Great kid with a bright future in front of him.
