Hope it was a good show. I don't listen and didn't spend a dime at Dreamland. Maybe if it was at 7 at night I could have make it and had dinner.
Looking at the lack of any type response in this thread dealing with anything concerning the event, looks like not too many people were able to drop in and/or listen.
There was really nothing we haven't heard before. Did mention Magee being available.
There also was the NAS event at the Alumni House around that time, just to throw that out there.
Basically dreamland forced this time slot on us. No one at UAB said "Gee, wouldn't it be great if we could have the coaches show at 10:30 in the morning!"
If a rib joint is dictating terms to us, we have the least powerful program on earth.
It wasnt just the rib joint. It was also our desire to be on either JOX or JOX2. So that gave us airtime windows of before Finebaum comes on the air at 2PM, or after Matt and Scott leave the air at 9pm. Coach Clark would kind of like to prep for football practices in the afternoon, so he needed it to be over by 1:00pm.

So the choice was to have it at 7pm on 107, or have on a sports station around lunch. We went with the latter. Then we asked dreamland if we could do noon to 1, they said no. Ok, how about 11:30 to 12:30. Nope. Ok, how about 11:00 to Noon? Well..... Nope. And here we are.

I understand coach is trying to maximize his time before the game. Like the man said:

Would have loved to be on 107 at 7. First I can attend some and second if I attend I can actually tune in the station. Third it's on I heart radio if I'm out of town. That signal on JOX 2 sucks and they are not letting us on JOX 1.

It is on 100.5 Jox2

Wish they would podcast it so we could actually listen as most folks are not able.
Streaming dead air.

Actual radio is still the ESPN feed.
