The editor of Birmingham Magazine said yesterday on Birmingham Mountain Radio (FM 107.3) that the latest edition will have a lengthy feature on Bill Clark as their "kickoff" to football season (even though the cover will have Bo Jackson, Bobby Bowden, and a 3rd person - can't remember). Digital edition went out to subscribers today, which doesn't include me (yet), so don't know when it will be posted online.
Does football practice start today?
Not sure. A co-worker stated that Alabama & Auburn start today so ours must be starting rather soon.

Do we have players that are coming in that have not been here during the summer?

If so, today may be check in day.
We could always check al.com.........................oh wait. Never mind.
Crenshaw - UAB football practice started 2 weeks ago.
So, yeah...Birmingham Magazine...

We get the same or better information coverage of UAB football with Westernblazer then Crenshaw.
Team reports the 3rd, starts practice the 4th.

Um, I know. It's a monthly, though, with an entirely different staff. Whine about our coverage on the daily side in another thread. There are plenty.

And this is GOOD news about coverage.
How & where may we pick up or view this magazine?

If you're subscribed, it was published this week. I'm not subscribed so I can't verify when it would arrive in the mail. You can buy it locally wherever magazines are sold (no, I haven't gone to make sure the latest issue is on the racks now). I have no idea when articles from the latest issues are placed online - Facebook or al.com. It's not primarily a digital publication.
It was delivered free to the Over the Mountain areas until it changed ownership...haven't read it or seen it since.

You can read it the next time you go to the dentist.

I was going to say that most often I remember reading Birmingham Mag in waiting rooms or lobbies of companies around Birmingham.

Hi five on that.
I actually enjoy the publication even if it is owned by al.com. They had a nice segment on Mike Getman a few months back.
