There are reports that Chris Jones (a high 3* WR from DeMatha HS in Maryland) did not make it in to Wisconsin and has enrolled at Toledo. His rivals profile shows that Toledo offered http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...nes-125121

Here's an article referencing a tweet about his absence at Wisconsin and his enrollment at Toledo: http://www.buckys5thquarter.com/2014/7/1...hris-jones

Anyone have any info on the accuracy of this? Would be a nice pick up.

Found same info on another Wisky source. 6'3" out of Baltimore, met NCAA standards but not UW's.
Interesting. Would be a nice addition, I'm sure, but lets wait until official word is heard.

Not very productive stats in HS (although he's from a well-established program that's used to winning, which is a plus)

Junior- 16 receptions/ 291 yards/ 1 TD
Senior- 22 receptions/ 355 yards/ 1 TD
Had a pretty decent list of offers, though. There must be some potential.
Jones was the 2nd receiver at DeMatha, which was a Top 50 HS program last fall. DeMatha's 4 star WR Cameron Phillips is enrolled at Va Tech.
Great pick up for the Rockets. Seems like WR is never an issue @ Toledo.
Nice offer list in HS. Ranked behind Freddy Canteen (will get PT as true freshmen at UofM) as fourth best receiver in Maryland in 2014. Nice size. It seems UT has really established a good repore with athletes in the Mid Atlantic especially Maryland.
