If there's an NFL talent on this team, it's Kennard Backman. He needs to see 6-8 balls a game.
Maybe we will throw to the TEs when they are open? I remember seeing guys wide open and the qbs never even looking their way.

This was only a product of the past two regimes, I hope.
True. I think both QBs were better than they showed and were totally screwed up by McGee.
The TE should be the Go to safety blanket if the WR are not open. But with the past two coaching staffs the go to guys have been the running backs.
It's amazing how we can look back and say this in retrospect but you got torn apart if you said it as it was happening. Didn't take much to see McGee completely screwed up our qbs.
I wonder when all football threads stop becoming anti McGee threads.

I have to say it is nice to see the anti Watson threads decrease.
Watson and McGee both coached football, right? At UAB?

Check that. I'm not sure what McGee was doing, but it sure didn't look like coaching.
Heck, Callaway called a better game then McGee.

A new level of Zero has been met is probably why
TE is such an undervalued position in football these days. With us implementing a hurry up spread, we might see Backman play out as a WR more. As an inside WR of course...but either way this guy knows how to block, catch, and has the size for the NFL.

+5 So glad I was not the only one to notice that!
