Samford F Tim Williams is leaving the program. (HT @TheRecruitScoop)

By far their best player and one of the top 3 players in the conference, if not the best!!!

[BTW - I always end the posting title with a "?" when its via twitter(don't quite trust it) and remove it after corroboration...]
Jordan Capps also has left the program he's Ga kid that came to a few UAB camps last year
We'd take him. He'd be a member of the current sophomore class. (Mehenti, Watts, and Madison)
averaged almost 18pts, I'm sure he'll have some big schools going after him.

This is probably based on the same source.

If UGA has an open scholarship, he's probably going there.
How many players have left this spring? 3 or 4?
A good number of guys left last year, also...
When transferring was unusual and few & far between, it was considered a problem for a few programs. Now it seems that players transfer as a way to let other coaches know they "are really that good" or to not seem uninteresting to other schools. Perhaps it has become a means of self validation like the old Madison Avenue mantra - "Run it up the old flag pole and see who salutes".

Maybe in a few years when the number is nearer a thousand, transfers may find they have become a glut on the market and most will find their new offers to be less exciting than anticipated and the numbers may decline.
Many have transferred to lower-level D1, DII, NAIA, and DIII schools. Some just want one last shot at glory before they're done and, of course, other were "persuaded" to leave by their coaches...
