Auburn has landed Marshall transfer Kareem Canty, he told ESPN. Big-time pickup for Bruce Pearl and the Tigers.
Okay, why the question mark? Not trying to be an arse but I'm just asking because he obviously is going to Auburn.

Just wondering, but why the lack of commas in your second sentence? Probably should have been one after arse and maybe asking.

Because is things like this:

Kareem Canty tells ESPN that he wants something to compare Auburn to -- and will visit South Florida before making final decision.

Empty arenas during basketball season is comparable. Will probably be more ppl in the gym on his visit than during actual games.

you do realize that during their losing season, they averaged 1,500 more people per home game than we did, right?

That average is skewed by the night they accepted the iron bowl trophy. For a fan base of near 2 million ppl vs a fan base of roughly 20,000 that's pretty sad. As well as them being in an P5 conference.
And ours is skewed by the UNC game. No matter the reason, it is still attended and counted. Attendance smack is not for us.

Actually they're selling a lot of season tickets already.

Of course they are. They signed a top juco guy, they likely have a top transfer, they hired the best coach out there. The fan base should be rejuvenated and the team should be competitive quickly.
He has backed off his commitment. Wants to visit USF first.

World Wide Wes at work probably.
Calipari stooge Orlando Antiqua was just hired at USF. Wes is getting the Bulls in the high stakes game.
Canty went to four diffrent high schools, spent two years at Marshall and made a 24 hour commitment to Auburn. I'd be willing to bet that he doesn't finish his career at whatever school he ends up at. Much like DeAndre Kane he has all of the talent in the world but is lacking the maturity needed to excel.
Always a red flag when someone commits somewhere and then decides a make a comparison visit at the last minute. Especially when there is a tie to Calipari and WWW

At least he will have a well-rounded educational experience with much exposure to diverse cultures and many life experiences. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Just wondering, did you wake up this morning with the purpose of being an arse on Easter?

Just asking a question as you were.

Probably should have been one after arse, but definitely not after asking. So back to you and your purpose for waking up this morning.
