I guess Ga. Tech did not like being beaten by us earlier in the year in Statesboro. Tonight in Atlanta Ga. Tech 13 Ga. Southern 2. Well at least we split our 2 games with Tech this year.
TXST falls 7-1 to #7 Houston. Always hate losing to UH, but we did get the better if them last year at Bobcat Ballpark. Hopefully some steam picks up with the team this weekend at ULM.
I had to do a double take when I saw this final

New Orleans 8 Cajuns 7

Talk about killing RPI.
Well Louisiana is not going to win every game. Too many crazy things happen in baseball games for a school to not lose a few games they should win and win a few games they should lose.

Oh I know...but New Orleans entered the game 9-20. I would have thought it would be an SBC Member who got them next.
Louisiana's RPI on WarrenNolan just dropped from 6 to 12 with tonight's loss.
We laid an egg across the board tonight.....not good all around....well....I fell sorry for McNeese tomorrow

No offense, but I've never understood this saying. I seriously doubt when we were losing by 3 in the 8th, the team didn't wanna unleash the bats.

We lost, UNO won. Lets not act like our guys now wanna win more tomorrow than they did tonight when losing.

No offense taken....speaking in terms of being better prepared mentally entering the game....and the fact that we have responded very well to a loss this year.....I am taking nothing away from UNO....they took care of business and we did not....and this one loss does not mean that this team will not accomplish the goals it set prior to entering the season....I spent many years in a dugout as a player and the greater part of a Coaching career as a Head Baseball Coach.....believe me when I tell you I have seen it happen many times....It's Baseball
And UL beats McNeese 14 to 8 tonight
ASU presents UCA with the "We beat up Scott Norwood plaque" then beats the Bears 3-0 behind a Freshman hurler.

Okay...there really is no plaque, but we did tease them heavily.
