In addition, WVU is having conversations with Virginia Tech officials about meeting in the Washington area. A 2015 game with Georgia Southern has also been added.

sweet!
Should be a good game if GaSo has their passing game going well by then.
Nice pick-up. Liberty is scheduled to play at WVU in '15 as well.
I'm still waiting to hear from our athletic department regarding this game. Neither school has published anything official.

The reason that neither school has not said anything official about this game could be because the date for the game has not been agreed on by both schools only the year.

I thought this was a Sunbelt Board? Why would we care about a Big12 Big South matchup?
Does this in any way effect Liberty, a non member, and their gay issues. There must be a problem with the thread author as I thought every thread needed something about Liberty, and their anti gay agenda?
So for Ga. Southern in 2015 our 4 non-conference are:
At Georgia
At West Virginia
Home vs. Citadel (FCS)
Home vs. Western Michigan

6 home games in 2015 sound good.
not gonna lie, I don't like playing citadel. they run the option, and even though they will have not played against our new offense, they will still be pretty familiar with us. Hopefully our new offense picks up and is outrageously good and we can hang 50 on them.
I hope starting in 2016 we can reduce the "money" games to 1 and play 2 home/home each year vs. G5 teams (1 home and 1 away).
I'm sure we will more towards that, but even if we schedule 2 P5 teams, at least make one of them a winnable won, ei NC State, Vandy, etc

ValleyBoy does not have a problem with Liberty or the values of there school. From reading the article I saw no mention of the agenda of any of the schools listed which included : West Virgina, Tennessee, Virgina Tech, East Carolina, Alabama, BYU, Towson, Maryland and Liberty.

It looks like if WV scheadules ND they will cover all the bases.
I like the West Virginia add but what I really want to see is 6 home games every year going forward. Is that really too much to ask?

Honestly? Yes. Unless you refuse to sign money games and greatly limit your 2-1 and 3-1 agreements.

6 home games every year is too much to ask, unless you only do equitable OOC deals.

6 home games more often than not, is doable with money games and inequitable OOC deals, but it is a challenge and likely means an annual FCS game on the schedule.

MT was always one of the better schedulers in the conference, but it's not easy. 2009 was the first year we had six home games, but keep in mind 2006 was the year we moved to a 12 game schedule and 2009 was the first year the Sun Belt had an 8 game conference schedule, so it wasn't until 09 that you had four guaranteed home games every year in this conference. Since 2009 we've had six home games every year but one(2012), we also had a power conference team at home every year from 2006-2011, 2014 will be our third consecutive year without a power conference team at home, but we do get BYU which is pretty good.
DO NOT MAKE THE TRIP TO MORGANTOWN. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

We'll have 6 home games next year.

And our DC has a LOT of experience practicing/scheming against what they do. I'm not worried.
