"What's been the biggest change?

"The coaches. This year, I see every coach. The door's open. We can talk to them whenever. They'll stop what they're doing just to talk to us about anything we want. I see the coaches all day. It's not just our (position) coaches. It's every coach, everywhere we go. Every meeting, practice, they're there."

Davis has also adjusted well to the new coaching staff.

"I never thought it would be like this," Davis said of his UAB career. "But I've been going through change all my life. I'm used to it and adapting.

"They're great. Everything's positive. They don't just talk. When they say stuff, they do what they say."
