We wore our midnight blue uniforms. Anyone else notice we're undefeated in our whites...? Every game we've lost this season, we donned the midnight blue uni.

Just sayin'.

Also noticed a lot of people on here talking about next season. I also am very excited about next year. We're a young team and next season, I bet we gel real well together. We'll just have to work a little bit in the off season on that defense thing, you know? Go Rockets!
Wait, didn't we wear white at Ohio when they wore their black uni's?
Interesting. So, if we had not lost at Northern, and everything else stayed the same thru the regular season--we would have been the #1 seed and worn white.

Yep.

Plus UT has both Midnight Blue road uni's as well as a Charcoal Gray, the Gray's were worn more often, and they were worn last night.
I was actually hoping that we came out in our throwbacks that we wore quite a few times this year. It's a gold uniform, with brown trim and #s and lettering. We could use it as a road or home uniform. It's the uniform we wore when we defeated Clemson in the 1998 NCAA tournament, our last tournament win. Any word where the NIT will be played? I know it's going to be tough to hold it at Savage, with the Women's tournament being played there. If it's at the Huntington, as opposed to playing it on the road, I might make the trip from Detroit. I've never been to an event at the Huntington Center. It looks like parking is a nightmare, or at least, one long walk to the Arena, from the outside of it.

Parking at the Huntington Center is not as bad as you think. A six story parking structure is attached to the arena via a skywalk. Another 1000+ space parking garage is only a block east on Superior St.

Agree==we go to several Walleye game each season and have never found it hard to get a decent parking spot even on nights when 7000 were there. The Arena is near 5/3 Field where the Mud Hens play, so that helps ensure lots of parking. If you like hockey, its a nice play to watch a game--not so much this season since the Walleye are struggling (too put it nicely), but come on down!
Are they really considering holding the game at the Huntington?

Highly doubt it. I think he just mentioned it because we're talking about Huntington Center on the MAC board.
Thanks guys. Yes, I love hockey, and going to Huntington for a game is on my list of things I want to do. I've been to couple of Mudhens games, but I didn't notice the garage attached to the Arena. I always thought it would be a cool spot to watch the Mudhens from a top of the garage in left field at 5/3rd.Duh, is that the same garage you guys speak of? I do remember the Pistons playing an exhibition game a few years ago at the Huntington Arena. Remember guys, with these other tournaments, they really look to cut down travel, especially in the 1st couple of rounds. So I guess anything is possible. Also, neutral site games happen more often then you think.
do they have a basketball court and setup ready at the huntington?

there's a chance toledo might have a chance tohold a 2nd round NIT game but will be during the women's ncaa hosting

I'd love to see a Rocket game at the Huntington. Not to take anything away from Savage Arena, but 1 game couldn't hurt. I know other schools that take advantage on their downtown arenas for something different and special.

I think it'd be cool to get a little holiday tournament there.
It's a nice arena for basketball. I saw CCHS play Elida, and SJJ play Scott there in December of 2011. For MAC tourney regards, it's better travel for UT, BG, CMU, NIU, BSU, EMU, and WMU. But 8k wouldn't be enough in some circumstances. It would take away from Akrons every year support in Cleveland, and make a women's game look full in the MAC tourney.

Hey guys, it's not the color of our uniforms the problem is we can't play DEFENSE, I also think that SM will put 90 points on us, like WMU did.

No, there is other garages on the other side of the Huntington. Also, I hope you're not confusing the Seagate Center for the Huntington Arena.

Yes. We know that. It was a joke.

AGREE! The one stat the Coach K always quotes is we make more free throws than our competitors attempt. Idon't think it is a good stat. I think it shows we are not playing tight defense like we should. We are afraid to make contact.

It also shows that you are being aggressive on offense. That was a stat that some of the Xavier teams of the recent past have prided themselves on, and most of those teams played good D. You can play good D without fouling.
