The assistants are there as well, for those that didn't know.

I don't think so but I like it better than what we have currently.

I think we saw that pop up earlier this past year, and there was *some* discussion around here regarding that logo...

That logo was shot down pretty quick by Brad Smith, the former asst AD for Marketing now at Morehead St... sent me a pretty formal-sounding tweet (if a tweet can even be formal) saying the logo was not the UAB Blazer logo & something to the effect of it wouldn't be good to use it.

I think we should just have a new mascot every 5 years, voted on by the student body... we would probably be the UAB Zombie Hunters right now...

And just what zombies are we hunting? Gumps?!?!?! They're the very definition of "Zombie Nation..."

The UAB logo in the original picture is HIDEOUS and cartoonish, much like the dragon outside bartow..

You're so right. Sorry for perpetuating the problem. Back on track:
Glad to see that our Coach is remaining involved in the High School scene. Hopefully this will bear some major fruit in recruiting next year and other years to come.

No it is the logo of some intern or low level staffer who grabbed something off the internet without knowing what they were doing.

in hindsite, western clearly was planning on discussing the logo.
the coaching staff speaking at the clinic and how they were received were obviously side notes
