This staff has been busting it on the recruiting trail.......numerous offers have gone out in the state of Florida this week. I'm glad to pick up this Boyd kid, as he has very good height/long arms.
We can still sign 2014 kids til early April?

Yes, as long as we make the 85 limit work. I think this kid is going on the 2015 count though. Remember, we still have all those grayshirt offers to work through (Dinkins, Hudson, Norris, etc.).

I don't think those gray shirt offers will stand. If we have a respectable season, could find some better players to fill those positions. I wouldn't let go of dinkins, tho.
To me he's kinda on the small end weightwise for a TE other than like being a Wes Welker type which may be what the coaches have in mind. Maybe Nolen will have a breakout yr under this staff like he showed signs of under Callaway & then this kid replaces him???

That would not surprise me in the least. We will probably find out a lot once spring training gets rolling.

You may be right about the weight. At 6' 5" and maybe growing by 20 lbs with good conditioning / training under Coach Woodfin and keeping his good speed, maybe FBHC Clark can find another position for him. What other position might he fill? HMMMM....I wonder if.......?
Anybody know if we recruited him out of high school?

The name sounds quite familiar.
Great size for a wideout , or beef him up a bit and play him as a quick TE.
