Since AL.com didn't, I threw this together.

As I recall, there were 3 guys from Alabama who were supposed to have committed/signed although Joseph Roberts was the only one listed at the signing event?? Whats up with the other 2 guys??

There are some that may be gray shirts or may possibly get a spot earlier if it becomes available.

Take a look at our roster. We typically do.

We had a coach less than two weeks into his new gig with some gaping holes to fill.

I'd be very surprised if this becomes the norm.

The JUCO's in Alabama do not play football, and we needed the IMMEDIATE help. This year is not a normal year at all. We usually sign at least 10-15 instate players a year. The states of Florida and Georgia have been pretty good to us lately too.

The other 2 (Dufour and Norris) are more than likely grayshirt guys who will get here in Jan. of 2015, unless more current players quit before then.

The other 2 (Dufour and Norris) are more than likely grayshirt guys who will get here in Jan. of 2015, unless more current players quit before then.

Will they enroll this fall anyhow and just not participate in the 2014 football season. Why wait till Jan 2015 when they could go ahead and get a semester of college life and coursework under their belt??

D. Champlin says Dufour and Norris are indeed "grayshirts" plus he mentioned three from Florida as well. He did not identify the three from Florida.

If they don't mind paying their own way for one semester, that is fine.

They can also enroll in January.

No, we don't. We need to find the best players possible that for our needs. If those players are from Alaska, that's what we need to recruit.
