Interesting fact: Jarod Haase is the fourth coach to go up against FAU coach, Mike Jarvis.

Gene Bartow lost to him in the first round of the 1994 NCAA tournament when Jarvis was at George Washington.

Mike Anderson lost to him in the NIT tournament in 2003 when Jarvis was at St. Johns.

Mike Davis beat him in 2008 in his first year at FAU.
3 out of 4 as of tonight. Not bad -- for Jarvis.

What do you suppose was BBHC Davis' secret?
2014 Haase-beating of Haase.
That was a half-Haased performance in the second half. I'm sure everyone's pretty embarrHaased. I would run their Haase all the way to Ft. Lauderdale after that sh*ttyHaase performance. I'm tired of the same weakHaase excuses with each loss. At least we have a coach who has taken the blame and said it's all on his Haase.

Well done.
I seem to recall when the search was on for the Gene Bartow's replacement, Jarvis let it be known that he was interested in the UAB coaching position. I don't believe he was even granted an interview before Murry was given the job.
