This delay is excessively long. Maybe it is about money, but it could be about other issues. I wonder if we'll find out what the hold up is.

Clark met for 8 hours with Dr. Watts yesterday. You know he's probably wanting some guarantees and timelines on these facility improvements.

I hope to hell he gets exactly that.

As he should! Nobody wants to ruin their career by coaching at a place with substandard facilities. It affects recruiting, which is everything!

Drew said he expects clark to speak with the JSU players. So hopefully tonight that will get done and in the morning they'll have the press conference. And tomorrow afternoon he can get to burning everyone else on the recruiting trail.

Drew said that Clark has "verbally accepted" the job.

I will wait until he verbally tells JSU goodbye before I breath easier.

I will wait till the BoT approves the hire.

On paper.

With signatures. And witnesses. Notarized.

Nobody could find a pen.

They thought it should have been resolved yesterday, however it took longer than expected.

I'm guessing some stuff had to be worked on with the BOT, etc. that made it take longer than normal.

Due to the holiday yesterday as well, some people might have been as easy to reach.

I hope he does fight for facility improvements. Unlike McGee, I think Clark probably knows there needs to be a commitment BEFORE he commits here.
