MAC West POW? I say Juice but it could just as easily go to J D. Those two had a phenomenal week as teams have "shut down" Pearson and Drummond. One thing I would bet the farm on: the player selected will be from UT. Knocking off two MAC East unbeatens in one week assures that.
J.D. was great, but it has to be Juice, I think, due to his six big points at the end of the Buffalo game.
They were co-players of the Akron game as selected by the Rockets radio broadcast team. With Brown's buzzer beater against the Bulls, that may tilt the scale.

Agree. I will be surprised if it is not Juice Brown.
No question in my mind but I hate to think where we would be if J D hadn't amped up his game. I was disappointed in him early on but he is really improving game by game. Shooting threes, getting to the line, rebounding like a mad man. I would pay to see him and Lauf fight for a rebound. If we win the MAC his improved play will be an enormous factor.
MAC gave it to Juice Brown.....

They didn't even list J.D. as a nominee.
FYI, for future reference, do not use "any bets" referencing Toledo men's basketball. Thanks. 03-wink

Great, penalties by the MAC and NCAA are probably already in the works thanks to H2O....

That's OK! I took Akron and -3 points.

I think each team nominates one player, but I 'm not sure.
You see the kid from BG who was the east player of the week hit seven 3 pointers vs. WMU. The basket must have looked like the grand canyon. When is the last time you heard anyone college or pro hitting seven shots like that in a game? I wonder if he was 7 for 30 or 7 for 10? To hit seven you would have to think he's wasn't perfect from three land. Still think that will be BG's best win this season, they don't have the horses to play like that the rest of the season.

From Toledo Start High School. Nice he's doing well.

UT recruited him. Factman thought he was the second coming. He hadn't shown much until this year.
