Well, that's that.

This would seem indicate that announcement is imminent.
not surprised
Well, there goes that.
If we wanted him, was there really a need to interview him again. He probably came to the conclusion we were not serious.
Sucks. Could mean he got a nice raise though
I hope the heck Bill Clark takes the job!
at least we interview him
Hopefully this means we are close to hiring bill clark. Or else we will probably be regretting it when troy is winning with him in the near future.

+1
Coach Roberts is also a good option. We seem to have a good group this time. I hope we don't fumble the ball.

Or he realized how he much he would be making.
After years away from Alabama I suspect his heart (and that of his family) is in Oregon & he got a nice raise. I also suspect we're looking for someone with HC experience after the last 2 coaches. That would rule out Eddie Gran and leave Clark and Roberts. Roberts has been a HC longer, but Clark has AL connections.

Roberts would be a good one......there are a couple of real good coaches in the SWAC too.

I would prefer Clark or Roberts over Gran.

And of course there could still be some name we haven't heard yet.
If you can't get the one you love, love the one you get.
My guess is that you can add to the factors UO going to him with a promise to rework his contract.
I am sure Oregon was able to give him additional $$$, so I am happy for Coach Neal.

I look forward to seeing who our next coach will be. Like I said before, the slate of candidates seem more qualified than in the past. Clark seems like a solid hire.
It's all good. Good for him.

If I had a choice right now it would be either Clark or Roberts, but I am not aware of all of the other options that may be out there.
I'm happy for Coach Neal if he's happy, but I'm brokenhearted for us. He should have been solo DC when Coach Clay left (Watson screwed him over to take care of his buddy Christophel) should have been hired as head coach when Watson was elevated to AD ( and should have been removed from the field then) should have been hired when Calloway was hired, and yes should have been hired when McGee was hired.

Can you tell I'm a John Neal fan?
