On the bus coming on, could someone please post what he said?
Nothing of note, he was impressed with watts and mehinti. Too many turnovers. He hopes this is a turning point for the better instead of the team pointing fingers.

Thanks
Haase's coaching kept us from getting blown out in the second half yesterday, along with the will to take the game over from Rob, Chad, and Denzel. Whether we win 20 or 25 games this season, Haase is the man. Even though the players screwed up to high heaven coming out of the locker room in the second half, he took full responsibility on the radio.

My other thoughts:

-When we got in the car after the game, we turned on the 107.7 app to hear the postgame. When Chad hit that 3 in OT, you would have thought it was at Bartow Arena. The Blazer fans in attendance were loud and proud.

-Had we gotten a stop after that aforementioned 3, we would have won. All around it was a fantastic game, and an intense one to be at.

-The team will bounce back. They weren't particularly sound with the basketball, but Haase made great lineup adjustments late in the game. That lineup of 1,13,5,25,42 wound up working nicely.

-The MT fans were very nice, yet quiet. I thought it was funny that every time we got a cheer going, the band cut us off.

-Tosin and Denzel were forced to grow up last night. That experience in a tough, gritty game will pay huge dividends for us in upcoming games. I look for both of them to get more minutes.

-In the grand scheme of things, that loss isn't a season-killer, although it would've been huge to steal that one on the road. MT has a 50/50 shot of being Top 100, and we get a chance to drill them at Bartow to close out the regular season.

-As far as at-large chances go for us and CUSA, the only chance our league has at the moment of getting two in is to have one team win the regular season with an RPI in the 40-50 range, and then another strong team wins the tournament. Right now, it's still too early to tell (that's why we don't think about the FN Bubble Watch® until February) but if we go on a huge run we'll have a shot.

-Every game is winnable from here on out. The goal should be to win the regular season and then look at NCAA scenarios. By the way, we are 1.5 games back from UTSA going in to Thursday night's game. If you had told me they'd be tied for 1st place after the first weekend... 03-lmfao
MTSU has now won 25 straight conference games at home...
That was anything but a tough road environment. It was pretty docile. Agree with all points FN.
Students are not back in school yet, so that hurt our atmosphere quite a bit. You guys brought a good crowd. Impressive!
Thanks. The fans were very nice. Even was thanked for coming.
it was a good game (except the score) I liked the selection the pep band played small as they were along w/ the anthem choir. I agree w/ FN stuff w/ my exception as an armchair coach being that I might've fouled them at the end of reg to send them to the line for a 1n1 as the weren't shooting the ft very well other than 1 player that way we'd have time left to set up a shot to win be it a 2 or 3. after the game while I was heading back to the bus a mtsu fan said just what mtfan said (unless that was him) even said wku wouldn't bring that many as close as they are (I hope we end up in same div as I think it'll be good for fan base/rivalry crowds in the long run). my only bad thoughts are that they need to do something about the light level unless that's their hc advantage trick & way to many scoreboards
