All the FBS schools were given a grade by USA Today for the 2013 season performance.

Here's how the other MAC schools and the teams on UT's 2013 schedule (FBS only, so no Eastern Washington) were graded. Hope I didn't overlook anybody.

Central Michigan and Ohio also received a C.

Missouri, Ball State and Buffalo given an A, BG and Northern Illinois an A-.

Navy and Akron given a B+. Akron? Really? I know their win over UT kept the Rockets out of a bowl game, but a B+?

Kent State given a C-.

Eastern Michigan given a D-.

Florida, UMass, Miami and Western Michigan given F's.

Here's a link to the entire list -

Clearly the person who did the scoring has a math problem.
That is too generous for UT.

I like the list though.
Akron deserves a B is you are weighing by their recent expectations.
Agree C minus to the coaching staff.. B to the athletes being held back.
Just to break it down further.
Actually the coaching grade is being generous considering their inexperience in season two.
Time to understand big boy football in 2014.

sidenote: D to MAC REFs
Two A and a B team lose to the same C school. How does that work?

Maybe I could see a B, though I think a B minus seems more appropriate for the Zips. It's the "plus" that I don't get: I could understand a B, but a B+ seems way too kind for a team that finished under .500.
