We have one game left in December, one that we should win against Alabama A&M. Then we start the month that has killed the last two seasons.

Over the last two seasons, January has been the month that killed the season. During 2011-12 and 2012-13, UAB was 3-13 in the month of January. For comparison, during the rest of the months of those seasons, we were 28-20.

3-13. With wins over UTEP last year (probably our best win of the year) and Rice in OT and Marshall the year before.

I hope January is hotter for the Blazers in 2014.

I bet this January will be quite a bit better. This is obviously a pretty good team, even with the bad LSU game. CUSA has a few pretty good teams, but most of them look to be beatable..........of course, I know the road games can be a bit tougher.

If we can win at MT, we should be 7-0 for the month.

Yep. That is going to be one heck of a tough game to win though.

It will be much easier to win there than @LSU, but definitely harder than @NE. Our guys haven't been tested much on the road yet, so that concerns me a little. We've gotten win this game, and others like it, if we plan on even being in the convo for an at large.
Yeah. We play 8 conference road games, and only 2 of them aren't landmines (MT/Charlotte). Collect a WTF or two in conference and that'll do it for this year's at-large chances.
We just need to go ahead and turn into the Memphis of the new CUSA and dominate these pansies. Let's run roughshod overthem and go undefeated!
Plus we are taking a nice contingent of Blazer fans there. A loud section of Blazers will help.

This is an easy road trip. Tickets are still available. Time to start acting like the dominant program in this league.
I'm going to the Charlotte game. Already got my tickets! Anyone else coming?
very tempting but I am going to the FU games. Good road swing in a fun town. Airfare is cheep as can be. Got a round ticket from ATL for $197.
First time since 2006 @ Memphis that I'll get to see the Blazers play an away game.

I'm hoping to get tickets to the UNC game next year.

It's a "wait-and-see" for me. Depends on the weather/roads between DC and there on the 11th.
