It was nothing we all didn't already know. It wasn't bad, and they never acted like we were going to be erased.

They spent a lot of time pointing our issues with the BOT.

I don't think it hurt us at all.
Yeah. Pretty much my thoughts as well.
It was a fairly long piece as well, and it highlighted basketball, and made a good case for an OCS.
is it viewable online?

Should be soon. Looks like they're just starting to upload tonight's videos.

okay, thanks.
Well damn. I bet Matrix will be upset that he can't rant and rave.
I thought it was a very good piece. They mentioned that they had tried to speak to the BOT AND Brian Mackin. Only one trustee opted to comment and his comments sounded like horse crap.

03-lmfao You are sadly mistaken. I saw it, and I share the majority of the sentiments expressed here (except yours, of course! 03-lmfao)it was somewhat objective and did at least offer up the BOT and their lack of support in relation to facilities.

I do, however, wish that they'd approached me when they were there soliciting fan perspectives at the Southern Miss game, I would have relished the chance to offer up my .02.... John England was his usual "toolish" self, and as expected, none of the "toadstools" had the testicular fortitude to speak on camera.

He(England) said, IMO, just what "Despicable He" ordered him to say. Mr. Eliasoph, however, did offer up an invite to any and all who wish to send up a comment or opinion about the future of UAB Football to his email address, jeffeliasoph@wvtm.com, I think.

I may just take him up on that invite sometime today...

This! England's comments didn't even pass the smell test.
I wouldn't stomp all over John England too hard. I didn't see the story, but he's one of the Tuscaloosa trustees that tends to give UAB a fair shake most of the time. He was ready to vote for the stadium when Garrison was bringing it to the Board.
(He doesn't like the bottom of Smith Lake either)
After the disjointed and conflicting statements made by BOT members during the OCS vote debacle I suspect the word from any BOT member will be rather prepackaged as to present a standard, common message without saying anything substantive.
yes, England is an ally. He may have his hands tied but he is an ally along with some more I won't name right now.

Why? Didn't have enough time to type them out?
I have my reasons. Be happy to tell you in person.
Well they didnt want his Grand baby in their UAT good old girl soroity, so he may be walking toward the light.

03-lmfao or spending the remaining days of his life in a "holler" with "The Wyatt Family."
I didn't miss a home game this year but in this photo I was mysteriously missing from my normal seats. It must have been taken way before kickoff but it matters not. Our attendance bites and we know it.
