I know its very early in the season, but ESPN's Bracketologist, Joe Lunardi has Toledo as a #12 Seed playing #5 Seed Iowa Steet in a First Round NCAA Tournament East Bracket Game in Spokane, WA. Toledo's current RPI is 51 with 2 wins against RPI Top 100 teams and 4 wins against RPI 150 teams. We'll get an additional bump when we play Kansas on 12/30. Its fun talking about this after so many years of not being able to!
The renovation of Savage Arena and the addiiton of the Sullivan Athletic complex on top of hiring our current coach seems to have been a recipe for success.
ASU sits at 140. No pushover.
Hope it ia closer to to here than Spokane but if we go there I am going I am not going to miss their games if they get in like most of you I have waited to long.
Loooong season ahead of us yet…but if we make it to the dance, I'd be damned to not find a way to make it to the game. Hope the Rockets can keep the success going.
Nice to see UT getting favorable coverage, but after 33 years I am to wait until after the MAC Tourney before I get too worked up about the NCAA Tournament.
gotta stay healthy and keep improving. I think we are one of the top 68 teams in the country right now.

Which means nothing in terms of our chances of making the NCAAs. We have to be the best team in the MAC on the last day of MAC play or it's NIT for us.
If the Rockets are lucky enough to pull out an NCAA birth, unless they decide the moon is a tournament site, I'll be there. I'm not getting any younger and I can't wait another 30 yrs.
Nice seeing the Rockets mentioned as one of three undefeated basketball teams not in the top 25 on the first page of the sports section of the Santa Fe New Mexican.
