Halfway through the 2nd half and LSU still leads Memphis.

USM vs Louisville and UTEP vs Iowa about to get under way.

Let's go CUSA!
Memphis now up by 1 on LSU. LSU with 21 turnovers with 8 to go.
CUSA Gettin' Stomped today :

Tulane loses to Texas St 70-52
SMiss losing to Louisville 30-10 under 4 TO mark
UTEP losing to Iowa 38-18 4:52 1st half
Memphis beat LSU. Rematch with OKlahoma State next up.
I will not miss Tulane one bit...

Northeastern hanging tough with VCU. VCU leads by 3 at the half.
Watching some of this USM-Louisville game. Got to be one of the ugliest basketball games I have ever seen. I know it's just one game, but if USM is the best CUSA has to offer, we're in big trouble.
Southern Miss, Tulane and UTEP get atomic 03-nutkicks. Tulane gave Texas St its first win of the year. 03-no
Northeastern also loses. That's a dangerous situation for us after the UNC game. Northeastern is a very capable team, but they're 2-5 and would very likely be a WTF loss.

I was afraid of this. I think this will be their first time home in a while too. Blazers are going to need to TCB vs UNC, Northeastern, and LSU. These games can define the season.
Oh man I would not want to be UTEP today. They were embarrassed by Iowa and now have to play Kansas today. Pretty sure Tim is still drinking this AM from last night.
whoo hook…way to go Chattanooga
Middle Tennessee was down by 8 at halftime to USA, and came back to win by 10 (65-55).

Marshall lost by 10 to East Tenn State, 88-78.
Tulane is losing by 20 in Mexico to SE Missouri State, with 12 minutes to go.

FIU is losing to Georgia State by 3 with 10 minutes left.
With yesterday's massive losses by C-USA teams, C-USA dropped from 14th to 15th in the conference rankings. The Ivy League is now considered better than C-USA. The Sun Belt is ranked 17th.
Tulane is terrible. They continue to disappoint, and again I'll be glad to see them move along to the American to drag down their RPI.

FIU pulled out a win.

UTEP actually making a game of it against #2 Kansas. Much better showing so far compared to the game against Iowa.

Also good that FAMU and Nebraska got wins.
Rice survived by 1pt over Santa Clara. Pretty good win.

UTEP gave Kansas all they wanted but ultimately fell short. Too bad as that would have been a boost to CUSA.

North Texas won.

Tulsa lost to Green Bay... boy is Tulsa bad or what. Of course they always play well against UAB.

Overall, not as bad of a night for CUSA or our opponents as last night, but tomorrow is huge for us and for CUSA.

Tulane lost their best 2 players in Tarrant and Davis to transfer. Tulsa also lost their best player to transfer. I'll tell you what, it seems like transferring is on the up these days.
Yesterday was much better, but CUSA still struggling. UAB's RPI is up to 133 going into today's game. I suspect it will take a large jump tonight.

In way-too-early numbers, we are 0-1 vs Top 50 (New Mexico), 0-2 vs Top 100 (Temple), and 4-0 vs 100+ competition. UNC comes in tonight at 25.
