Do we have the luxury of waiting until April?
I don't think he will wait that long.
He'll decide before the early signing period ends. If he doesn't, you continue to recruit him with convince plans that are already in place. Remember we had moved on thinking he was gone anyway.

im just wondering if they take a chance waiting until the regular signing period if he doesn't make up his mind this week.
Word is there will be a decision early in the week.
Any word on which way said decision is leaning?

ESPN has Haas committed to Wake Forest. We may be too late. http://m.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/recruits
Is that also 2 months old like your other "inside info?"

Yes.
First I would love to wrap it up in the early signing period and hope he signs. We have five seniors and four commitments

Further I have heard of no one else who is ready to sign now that we are committed too.

For a four star, we would clearly wait to spring.

Heck personally I would even wait to the special Mike Davis signing periods 05-stirthepot

I know nothing about our recruiting but something tells me our coaching staff didn't move on from him. I can't imagine they just gave up after that verbal commit, and it may pay off now.
It's Purdue.

I think our resources for recruiting are too small to continue to actively recruit someone after they committed elsewhere

With the less restrictive recruiting rules that are now in place, it would cost relatively little to remain in active contact with a recruit that has committed elsewhere.
Was there ongoing contact? Probably.
Was it every day? Probably not.
Had Haase & staff moved on? Yep.

Not sure on who Haase may be going after now, but he was surprised (although happy) when Lee chose UAB.

With Haas opening back up his recruiting, Haase may have had to possibly adjust his prospects.

Not sure still who Lee was talking about, so maybe it will all be resolved this week.

If not, maybe we can ink 1 more & save 1 for the late period.
