Oh my gosh! The photo shows that Isaac is also a left handed shot blocker, as is William Lee. Obviously, Isaac has been very well coached, too, defensively. Bill Russell, probably the best defensive player in the history of the NBA, wrote a book or two, years ago, and in one of his books he emphasized the proper technique of blocking a right handed shooters shot, of which most basketball players are, right handed. Another great strength of Bill Russells was his uncanny ability to rebound. I do believe that Russell had two college national championship rings and approximately ten NBA championship rings, attained with great defensive ability of altering shots and rebounding.
The update on that blog is some interesting reading.
If, on D-day, WF wanted him to wait and see if a better choice came their way, why would he give them the time of day? So, obviously their other guy went elsewhere. Well, I'd said to WF "too bad...for you".

With the Blazers as they prepare for a Top 25 opponent. UAB under Haase is going to play a good schedule. Our competition is going to try to use our conference and schedule against us. But Haase is working his tail off to get us a good schedule so we've got the kind of competition we need to get us in a position for NCAA bids.

Had a great time at UAB! Thanks for showing love in downtown B-ham!!
I hope the Cheesecake Factory was on point.
Another thing for Haas to consider:

Wake Forest historical RPI:

2013: 171
2012: 182
2011: 256

I would wager the odds of playing in an NCAA Tournament game over the next 4 years are much higher here.

I hope the Cheesecake Factory can seal the deal.
I hope Haase had one specific member speak to Haas.

Fahro was recruited by Wake Forest before choosing UAB over Wake and Oregon.

I had hoped he would commit before leaving.
Not that it means anything but FWIW he has removed the Wake Forrest background from his twitter page and replaced it with his HS.
I know some thought Haas was taking an unofficial or official visit to wake, But he isn't.

The trip to Alabama for an in-home visit w/ Isaac Haas is a definite go for Jeff Bzdelik and Rusty LaRue tonight. #DeaconsIllustrated
Here is hoping that he wants to tell WF eyeball to eyeball before they hear from any other source.
420 miles is a long 7 hour ride for a 7'2"frame.
They are coming to see him is what I understand.

Am I the only one who 'has' to stop and think for just a second when I read 'Haas' and 'Haase' in the same sentence? Lol
Haase has the E for experience.
