Haase is building exactly the type of team we needed to go toe-to-toe with Memphis all these years.
We might get a chance to see them ooc soon
It's like rain on your wedding day, it's a free ride when you've already paid.

Damn you.
The 2008 UAB team had good players. The 2009 UAB team wasn't bad either. Y'all won the regular season in 2010 when our guys were freshmen. It's not like Mike Davis didn't acquire talent.

It's also ironic that Memphis is now playing a version of the fastest 40. Full court press all game long. Thought for years now Pastner should have been playing this way.

Talent yes, but no where near the level of depth we will have this year and next year. That is the key difference.
We also had "can't win big games when they REALLY matter" Mike Davis as our coach
XCMD =/= to Big Game Coach.
I was more referencing the fact that the guys Haase has molded (e.g., Foz) and those he has/is recruiting (esp. Chad Frazier) seen't just talented, I think they're exactly the kind of guys we were missing against Memphis all those years.
