Toledo does not need BG. Toledo plays on a "higher" plane. EX. Hosting a number of Big Ten and Big Twelve teams over the years. BG is not capable of doing that.
Teams like BG and EMU need Toledo to boost their attendance numbers for a number of sports.
The same can be said for Cincinnati and Miami (OH).
The school Toledo most widely resembles IS Cincinnati, not any other MAC school.
