And will the winner survive the season?

It's sort of becoming our version of the Madden Cover jinx.
My vote goes to Rod Rucker from the 2012-2013 squad ( havent seen any of the newcomers yet ). Well that was assuming that Rod would participate. Based on the article's list of participants,,, my money is on the new tall guy.
"Sgt." Preston (Purifoy)

You are showing your age ( as I am in recognizing it ) referring to that guy from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Used to love that show along with a host of others we can list one of these days when we dont have anything else to remenince ( sp?) about.
Swing was the runner up last year.

Of course that could have been an indicator of how the season would go.
And as for as the festivities go tomorrow night.

Keep in mind that while this event is for the fans, it's main purpose if to show out for the recruits. You may hear some entertainment in which you are not the target market. You may find it offensive to your old-ass sensibilities. If that happens, take an extra dose of geritol and get over it.

your right, I felt like a jerk for my comments after the event last year. I doubt the frats and sororities will be included this year though. Who Knows?
Tosin will win.
Guess we will not find out who is visiting this weekend til late tomorrow night or early in the day on Saturday.

William Lee- going, Official visit
Jarvis Calhoun(commit)-going

I got Purifoy in the dunk contest.

Yeah, I've embraced my geezerhood, and go in expecting to not like the music.

That said, I'll be at a high school football game.
You mean they might do the Tootsie Roll?
I'm hoping this will be a twerk-free night.
There will be Twerking.

Vic Salem will win it.
I'm wondering if we have another losing season, and fans turn on Haase, like some are turning on McGee, if this event will be renamed "Hoops is all Haase's Fault"
You're as bad as Finebaum... you came up with a good line and just couldn't resist.
Andy Katz posted a link that failed earlier about battle 4 Atlantis. An Ncaa basketball tournament which includes these teams in 2014:

That would be amazing. A trip to the Bahamas would be a great selling point to recruits. UTEP is playing in it this year.

That would be PHENOMENAL!!! And, I will give credit for that one squarely to Haase...
