I watched the Missouri road game last night at Indiana (On the BTN no less). It wasn't close. The only regular SEC/B1G game scheduled this year. I saw a Missouri team with a well-healed QB and a whole lot of weapons on offense and defense. The SEC saw an injured and scared Franklin last year. He had the same syndrome RGIII has now. I think Missouri will be bowling again this year. DGB has really blossomed into a great receiver now as a sophomore, and they have three really good rushers. Josey who missed the entire year last year is back from a devastating knee injury in our win over Texas two years ago. (Yep...we beat the Aggies in College Station that year too). We have had two linemen make a pick six in consecutive weeks. Their shortest receiver is 6'4". Even the BTN guys were impressed... We will see.04-cheers
I think you will beat Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Tennessee, and outscore Florida. I think you will lose to South Carolina and have a shootout with Georgia.
In the West I think you will beat Arkansas State and lose to A&M. Ole Miss is another question mark. So yes Medic I think you've got a great shot at a really good bowl. At 8 -4 or 9 - 3 it will be a good year for Missouri.

Just do us a favor and beat UGA this year.
I wouldn't use the Hoosiers as a benchmark as even Navy beat them this year. I will say that Mizzou has a chance to be #3 in the east and that will be a major accomplishment considering the competition. I think JR's eval of your schedule is correct. If you could pull off an upset over SCAR, A&M or UGA, it would be a major coup for the program.

We played the Gators to the last down in Gainesville with a very broken team, so I feel we can compete this year with them. I believe South Carolina is a loss as well as probably Georgia. Everyone else is a possibility.I think the jury may be out on the Aggies too. They are good but have a lot of new players.04-cheers
Take care of business this week against Arkansas State and next week against Vanderbilt and the Tigers will be well on their way to that 8 or 9 win season, or with a lucky break or two perhaps even more.

Ain't that the truth. Those idiots drafted Tavon and Steddy, and don't even know how to use them... 03-banghead

They have zero run game now. Everyone knows they have to throw. Bradford threw these little dink and dunk passes all night. He needed to stretch the field. Shottenheimer won't last the year as the OC. They can't stop the run either. Congrats on that big big win against OSU. What a turn-around in one week.04-cheers

Thanks for the congrats. Ain't it amazing what can happen when you have a defense?

If only the defense had played like this last year... 03-banghead

And poor Geno. I wish he had been drafted by almost anyone other than the Jets. He's getting punished up there.

Perhaps the Jets will draft an offensive line for him next season. They don't have one now...
I watched ESPN Goal Line all day Saturday. The guy giving updates when Missouri was playing reallllllllly hated Missouri. He went out of his way to slam the coach, the program, and the move to the SEC literally EVERY TIME they cut in to the game. Arkansas State being up or close all game only fueled his fire.

Geno's doing alright up there. Granted he has no receiver help around him.

Jets aren't as big of a disaster as ESPN would have you believe. Just another 2-2 team
Geno's biggest problem is the lack of protection from the Jets offensive line. Receivers would help. But a few good O-linemen would help even more...
You looked like an SEC team tonight putting a whooping on the Dores. In my opinion your table is set. Pull an upset in Athens against an injured and more pedestrian Georgia offense and you might just follow it up by managing to outscore a woeful Florida offense at home in Columbia. Do that and South Carolina at home might be manageable as well.

This is what I meant when I said take care of business against Arkansas State and Vanderbilt and you would make a bowl and maybe a whole lot more. But 1 game at a time. Beat the Dawgs! Nothing cries like a whipped puppy!
Tennessee almost pulled off the big upset. But fell short at the end there. Give Butch a couple of years, and the Vols will be back...

This is a healthy Missouri team now. I am starting to get excited.
Mizzou is looking pretty good this season. Good luck with the rest of it... 04-cheers
