If the Rockets make it to FAU's campus(I did watch the UT Baseball play),regular season or Bowl game, just thought I'd post this thread.

I don't actually think I like those dorms. I'm sure they're really nice inside but I'm not liking the layout or lack of balcony.

The stadium, nicely done'
Dorms look like the academic version of Pruitt–Igoe. Certainly hope they fare better.
High rise college dorms with balconies - hmmmmm, what could go wrong?

Good thing college kids don't drink.

They fall out open windows too.

Seen high rise dorms with balconies. Plenty of off campus housing with balconies. But of course, I see your point. Still looks bland to me. I like UT's much more. Of course an indoor pool area with Palm Trees would be a nice thing.
I'd put in for a 2nd floor view over the pool 04-cheers

Could make for an interesting game of quarters.
I'm not a big fan of the high rise for building community, although these sort of accomplish that with the overall layout. They also don't look like single stack high rise units which allow for cross ventilation and keep warm weather (think southern florida) housing from being dependent on air conditioning. then again, it's not like the planet is warming or energy is expensive, so fire up the coal plant and drill the ocean we've got dorm rooms to cool down.
