5 catches on 7 targets for 38 yards. So I guess he's on the team?
I would suspect he is not off the team.
Is getting more playing time in the last preseason game a good sign or a bad sign? 7 targets is the most action he's seen to my knowledge.

I don't think it's a great thing to get a lot of playing time in the last preseason game, but I think he made the best out of it. He makes the team.
Joe's situation is quite unique though.

He was asked to move to WR by the Vikings, he didn't decide this on his own.

If the Vikings ask the #2 QB to move to WR & then cut him after he doesn't make enough good plays, what would that say about the Vikings?

They already are the biggest cluster of an organization around, outside of the Jets.

That they are a professional football team?
I would just like to point out that although Tom Brady didn't play last night, Kenbrell Thompkins, Zach Sudfeld, and Aaron Dobson all played. They had 14 combined targets, and all are young players. At least 2 of the 3 will probably be starting in week 1. Just food for thought on who coaches may play the last week of the preseason.

I would like to see other examples where an NFL team asked a QB to move to WR before I provide any more feedback.

Some examples include Matt Jones, Randle EL

However, it would be way too early to pull the plug on it after just training camp.

What? ;-)
How in the heck did I post 4 times?

That is ridiculous.

I'm going to have to disable that back button.
