At times I wish we didn't have instant notification of stuff.
We will see how fast the news gets out.
If this is the case, then I believe we would have 1 more scholarship for the following year.
Whitaker would probably be transferred to a medical hardship type scholarship.

I think we should refer to any wildly off-balance 3 as a KC in his honor. As in: (David Crane voice) Swing curls around a screen, catches, jacks up a KC and nails it with only 1 second left on the shot clock!"

After this year, every scholarship player will be Haase recruits. We will then be able to see if he can win with his own players.
I'd expect a mid-year transfer in...
Or Karl Moton getting an extended scholly offer.

Karl Moton is back on UAB basketball roster. The 5-11 walk-on guard has another year of eligibility.

Moton won a grad school scholly from CUSA last year so he should already have his way padi...
Didn't he also get a half-year scholarship on the team for the latter part of last year or am I just dreaming?

Yes. I think that's what got him eligible for the CUSA grad school scholly. His 2nd half scholly was courtesy of Jekore Tyler...
While he's been primarily a bench warmer, he definitely put in some quality minutes on the court when he did get in
Shame that we never really got to see his true sharp shooting stuff...

Kid had some tough breaks, just sad news. Hopefully finishes his education and finds a great career path.
