Good afternoon Rocket fans! Good luck this week!

Em
Thanks for the preview EM. You made some good points. I will be most interested to see how UF OL and Toledo's DL compete. On paper, both look like they have challenges. Florida recruits as well as anyone, so I am sure the talent is deep. Toledo's DL line is somewhat unproven, but there seems to be significant talent and depth there as well.

It will be interesting.

Go Rockets!!
Welcome back, Emory!

For those of you who haven't checked out his site, make sure you visit footballgameplan.com EmDiggy does a great job, and what every Rocket fan should also appreciate is that he remembers Wasean Tait as a great player.

Thanks PTLROCK! If that D can get some stops, you guys can pull of the upset..Not sold at all on anything UF does throwing the ball

Thanks red glare! Glad to be back! Tait was the man!
Our defense isn't a weakness. People think it is basing off lost starters, and recent history. Our D will be a strength like it was in the early 2000's. Mark my words fellas.
Nice job EmDiggy!

Thank you for your analysis and thank you for posting it here!

It seems to be going in the right direction. It would have been nice to have Coleman healthy this year. I'm a little concerned about the linebacker position and the secondary. We shall see. I hope you're right.

I hope you're right...if so, this could be a special year. It's been a long time since our D was a strength.

I also hope he's right. If the play of our defense matches the play of our offense, there is no way that the Rockets will be anything less than MAC Champs. I could see flashes of what Tuke was trying to get to with the D last year and saw it in Cincinnati game last year. If he has fine tuned it enough this year, I agree that it can be really good. However, part of his plan always seemed to play soft for the first few series to allow them to give a look of their plan to the D and adjust from there and that put the team in a hole out of the gate in a couple of games if I remember correctly.
In one of the articles I've read Tuk admits to having our cornerbacks play off, way off recievers last year. This year our secondary is bigger, stronger and I hope we jam and keep the ball closer to the line of scrimage. Is anyone else excited to see our revamped DL and how man-child Marquise Moore does this year? Our O will be fine, we just need a little pressure on the opposing team QB and not give up a ton of yardage on the outside.
Great video... sucky prediction
