He also heard that half of our recruits were going to switch their commitments to Southern Miss, so he probably figures he needs at least twice as many players committed at each position to ensure having a full roster.
There are gonna be a lot of departures from the SMiss QB corps. They have 7 on the roster now(5 from last year-1 Sr & 2 2013 signees) and have 2 commits. Monken is obviously grabbing as many as he can and gonna have 'em "shoot it out". Those that fall will transfer out.
Owens must be a lot better recruiter than Brohm.
