A little help here, please.
Who are we looking for?
3rd team RG, #74 Chris Hubbard
Also -
Note: From city of B'ham (Phillips HS) by way of NC State - #89 WR Jericho Cotchery.

From Hoover HS by way of UA -#4 QB John Parker Wilson
After Big Ben, they really suck at QB.

He holds a yearly FREE football camp at Legion Field and provides free football cleats to the attendees. My son has gone the last 2 years. Usually about 150 kids. Good guy...
Had he signed with my Cowboys he could've been starting by now, congrats Chris.

He'd look better in aqua.
The Steelers normally keep 7 O-linemen on the 53-man active roster, and another 3 on the practice squad.

Gilbert, Beachum, Foster, Pouncey, Decastro & Adams will be the first 6 on the active roster.

So Chris is in a dog fight for the 4 remaining spots with 6 other guys.

I think Landry Jones could be decent. The other two offer nothing though. This is likely one of those situations where if Big Ben went down they'd find a veteran on the street before starting one of the other two.

The problem with Ben and Landry is that a chimp at the zoo could regularly beat either of those guys in checkers.

And I am a Steeler fan.

I had hopes he would land in big D, and with all our current OL injuries this early in camp we might have a hard time with you guys sunday.
No offense to Chris, but as a third-team offensive lineman, he will likely get a chance to try on a different color in the next month or so. Hope it works out for him somewhere.
The Steelers are trying a zone blocking scheme this year. It requires better feet and mobility over power. If Chris picks up the scheme faster than the rest, then Pittsburgh may be his best chance.
If a lineman can play a couple of positions, that is a bonus.
My view would be that he's a project & will probably end up on PS to develop but then again he may surprise & make it as a backup. A better indicator will be when the preseason starts & see how much time & who he plays with on a regular basis
Hope Chris does well. Now, anybody have any new info on Joe Webb?
Yes, he is playing wide receiver.
