His last name, Nguyen, is pronounced WIN, hope that's a sign of good things to come.
He's got a wealth of distance talent here already. If he can recruit and develop and drive the team van safely he should do well here.

Ari is leaving on good terms.Linh is taking over distance crew totally.This is his strength.Ari has explained her reasons to the team for leaving and they understand. The distance crew family take care of each other,no worries.From what I understand there will be a new track and field coach to replace Jiana.Ari has decided on getting her doctorate in cell biology. She came back from getting her graduate degree at Augusta State to coach with Hadsell. She stayed to hold the distance team together and help coach Jiana until the dept. found another head coach.We are proud of her dedication to her team and the university.I know Ari is anxious to get back to running a few races.She has missed it terribly.:cheers:We wish Coach Nguyen great success at Toledo.See you at the races.

Great news, Mac. Doctorate in cell biology? Why not choose something challenging?
The University of Toledo has every reason to be very proud of Ari-we couldn't ask for a better representative. i really thought she would be a good fit with her knowledge of the program but I understand the reasoning. thanks for weighing in and give Ari our best for her future.

She must really like torture! First, she likes to run...a LOT! Now, she's going to get her doctorate?
It is a shame to see Ari and Jiana gone from the program. They had an insurmountable task to keep everything together. I hope the new coach can fill their roles on top of the big shoes to fill replacing Coach Hadsell. It will be interesting to see how the overall track program develops under someone that has no experience outside of distance at all.
