I cannot imagine what it's like for someone that's being "recruited." It's difficult enough to make a life decision without doubts.
For the typical college student, I think they do their research, figure which school is best for them and which accepts them, make their decision then go on with life. There's no new information to deal with because it's not sought. With a recruited student, the decision gets made but then new recruiters show-up with new information, new enticements...
I would enjoy a Blade story that follows an athlete that UT was successful in recruiting, not successful and maybe even had then lost.
Hopefully, if the UT coaches are still interested of course, White sees UofToledo for the terrific education and opportunity it will provide. If that is so, hopefully UT still comes out top. Most important is that every student gets where they have the best future opportunity.
