yeah with Watkins we had reported 14 players and only 13 scholarships

he ended up with Holmes Community college from what I'm reading, but I'm no expert thats just from a tweet

The only way we get another player for KC is to remove his scholarship. You want the PR nightmare of removing a scholarship from a kid with a basketball related injury. He will be on a UAB basketball scholly even if he never plays another minute. I hope he gets back on the floor for us though.
Don't believe his is a basketball related injury, but point stands.
& do you really have to find someone to "replace" him when he didn't play a minute last year?
And based on what we have returning from last season, KC wouldn't be a guy making or breaking us this season anyway. I wish him the best, but even if he's healthy, it's tough to see him getting significant minutes this season.
Was there the other day and he (KC) was hitting everything he was throwing up.

While wearing a boot.
Maybe the boot kept him from shooting off balance.
Maybe. I've heard the story about guys lighting it up in practice too many times before. If it doesn't translate to the game(which it hasn't for KC yet) then it really doesn't matter what he's doing in practice.

It's one thing to hit 3s without someone guarding you and not running up and down the floor for the last 2 hours. Those guys who can hit them in the 39th minute of a basketball game are the ones I want on my team.
