Blazer 2013 season
Troy - W - Our O vs their D wins it for us by a couple of tds
LSU - L - payback is ugly & just too much for us to handle
NWSt - W - easy week to heal up after last game & before next game
Vandy - L - close but no cigar but a possible win here under right breaks
FAU - W - we get payback for the past couple of games vs them but maybe we should thank them for getting us a new coach a couple of years ago
FIU - W - they're replacing a lot & not much coming back not much of a contest
UTSA - W - team isn't fully up to CUSA D1 levels despite being in WAC last year, many teams it played/won were AA schools
MTSU - W - This one could go either way in a shootout but I'm a Homer in this one, hope this develops into a good fb rivalry
Mar - L - season wear/tear/youth on us lets them win this
ECU - L - beast of the east this year on their way out, probably the best balanced Off/Def CUSA team
Rice - L - could go either way but think we're still just a little worn out from the season but we could pull this one out
USM - W - the mojo wings keep the mojo going but they're a far cry from the lows they were last year

*key injuries to us/opponents will change the outcomes of most on our schedule other than maybe the $EC games. Most of the predictions so far have us around .500 & middle of the division. I think most call for us to lose to Troy & USM which I'm calling wins. I don't know what our WTF loss will be at the moment but I think our WTF win would definitely be Vandy/LSU
Im thinking about not making predictions at all this season. We tend to continue to lose games we are supposed to win, and the scores at the end of those games are lop-sided.

6-2, losing 3 of the last 4 will make for a very grumpy fan base...bowl game or not.
if we win 6 regular season games ill be happy. if one of those is mississippi southern I will be very happy.

Possibly true but we're still young & quite a few Fr will see playing time & their bodies may not but up to the season long wear/tear hence the late season fall plus it's a much harder game to game schedule then vs some of the CUSA better teams w/ no off weeks/games to rest. I think most would be happy for a 2nd bowl game to offset that
It all depends on the quarterback play. I'm going 6-6, but can see an 8-4 season with a possible rematch against Troy in the New Orleans Bowl. Of course that depends on how Troy's season fairs.

8-4 regular season, trip to championship game, and bowl game. So basically all I'm saying is best year in the history of the program. You know, whatever.

I've been posting around here long enough to know that while there will be elation for the second bowl game in the history of the program, there will also be your fair share of those lining up on the ledge because of the way we finished the season.
For the record, I'm in the 14-0 camp.
There's only one team on that schedule that greatly outclasses UAB. A couple of others are much better than UAB. One great day, a couple of very good performances, and taking care of business on the other weekends yields 14-0. It can be done.
14-0 will be fine with me

That is very true, but QB success usually depends upon OL success and WR / RB success to keep the other team's defense guessing and failing to sack our QB too often. Until we lose, we are undefeated.
