Pat Dye once said, "Figure one loss for every freshman you start."

A whole lot of young guys took their lumps last year. Here's hoping we don't have to do the same with this class.
I took a brief look at the roster last night & we still don't have many upperclassmen especially on D. I don't see much change this year either as i still see a fair amt of Fr seeing time in the rotation on D again this year. Right now an outside WAG, I'd say we're in the .500 neck of the woods but things can go either way. I'll wait for the mags to come out in the following weeks to firm up my predictions.
We need to come out of the 1st 7 games 5-2 with the losses to LSU and Vandy and wins vs Troy, FAU, FIU, Northwestern State, and UTSA. The final 5 games are the toughest 2nd half in the conference. MTSU, ECU, Marshall, Rice, and SMiss. All are expected to vie for divisional titles and are generally considered, along with Tulsa, the top teams in CUSA. We get MTSU, Rice, and SMiss at home. We need to win at least 1 of those - and I think we will. Winning vs Troy is important - of course, Troy feels the same. As is usually the case we'll probably lose vs someone we should beat and beat someone we should lose to.
